WHO ARE WE?
We are students at the Chadron State College, simple as that. We go to class, attend sporting events, go on retreats, hang out, pretty much everything a typical student would do. We come from all over the world, from small town Nebraska to large cities in Nigeria. What sets us apart is that we view our walk with Christ as the most important aspect of our lives, and we desire to get closer to him even while we are enrolled in college.
WHAT IS CHI ALPHA?
Chi Alpha Campus Ministries is a Christian campus ministry on universities throughout the United States and around the world. We are a movement of college-age men and women earnestly following Jesus. Although the name is Greek, we are not a fraternity or sorority. Just like how a big part of the bible was written in Greek, our name comes from the phrase “Christ’s ambassadors” (XA). That reminds us that we need to live our lives as a reflection of the life Jesus has offered us. We invite everyone to be a part, regardless of background.
WHAT OUR VISION?
We strive to be a family of Christians, who dedicate ourselves to reaching the entire Chadron State College Campus. We seek to obey Christ's command to make disciples, and so we have designed every aspect of our ministry to do exactly that: Make disciples who make disciples.
WHATS IMPORTANT TO US?
Worship: Thanking God for who He is and what He does.
Prayer: Communicating with God, which involves both talking and listening.
Fellowship: Building a community with quality relationships.
Discipleship:Learning how Jesus lived and following His example.
